The Visionary

Agnes Knox, the visionary behind Legacy Learning & Empowerment LLC, leads a dynamic coaching and educational consulting firm committed to equipping students, parents, and educators with tools for success both in and beyond the classroom. Her personal mission is to empower individuals to embrace their true selves through meaningful engagement.

With a rich background as a former high school math teacher, Agnes passionately advocates for equitable education and the holistic development of every child. Her innovative approach, emphasizing the importance of students having a supportive village, contributed to her recognition as the 2019 Teacher of the Year for Ridge View High School and a top 5 District Honor Roll Teacher in Richland School District 2.

Facing challenges assisting students outside the classroom, Agnes embarked on a quest for tools and resources. Training with local and national organizations equipped her to guide students in conflict resolution, empower them to advocate for themselves, and create spaces for parental peer learning. Recognizing the shared concerns of fellow educators, she initiated Educator Empowerment Brunches in 2018, solidifying her status as a state-level and nationally recognized speaker and workshop facilitator.

Determined to address the complexities of school conflict, Agnes extended her impact by partnering with Midlands Mediation Center, where she serves as the youth coordinator. Her commitment extends to serving and training stakeholders in various communities while expanding her brand and business. Rooted in the Simpson Community in Ridgeway, SC, Agnes remains true to her calling as a teacher and facilitator of learning. Beyond her diverse roles, her cherished title is “Daughter of The Most High God.” Committed to lifelong learning, she dedicates herself to freedom and advancing God’s kingdom on earth through discipleship.
